A Guide For Moderators


Inactivity by any mod for 10 days without notification posted in the mod section is cause for loosing mod privilege's...Exception is in case of emergency.

Please remember to give notification if you're going to be on vacation.

Since we have two portal chats......whatever mod is on to make sure there are no bots......
While its fine to chat in the cb, please remember to scroll up and see if there are any bots or a member has come on and needs help or a welcome.
The portal chat is used mainly as a Welcome but at times chats go on there as well.
There is also a private chat that can be used on front portal
Please remember to check on the portal chat.
Also, we need to make sure there is no unacceptable language in either chat box.

Fighting or Arguing by any Mod on open forum ....
will result in consequences....
Arguing with Administrators on open forum will be reasons to dismiss you as Mod.
Arguing with each other on open forum is prohibited as well.

Please remember to make all pm's to members as nice as possible. If you are
busy doing moderating or do not know the answer to a question, etc.
A nice response back to the person is expected.

PM's from other moderators, global mods and administrators.
Please show respect by pm'ing the person back that you received the information, etc.


Please familiarize yourself with the procedures on Webbies4Ever.

3 word rule and how to handle it....
1. When you see the post(s), make a nice comment in the next thread ...
A reminder.
2. Repeated offenders, remind nicely, send a pm warning.
3. If person keeps breaking the rule post in colors and send pm warning of
further consequences....

This is how we will handle Comments that Stir- Up Trouble/are Hurtful in the Forum:

1. When you see the Post(s), Immediatley Delete them AND Post it in the "Admin & Mod" Section
2. Please Put a Friendly Note [Post] In the Thread where the Post was WITHOUT Colors.

If Any Problems Persist in that Specific Thread.....Repeat Step #1 BUT Instead of Step #2, Do This:
3. Put Note in the Thread Where the Post Was in COLORED INK.
