K0ng VS. admins Argument

Hi, I know this is already over, but I think we should discuss it here.

When K0ng was declared Administrator, alot of members made a big deal about it. All of the members that didn't agree with the admins choice of making him an Admin were sent a PM that said visit a certain thread.

That thread was made by Ryan, it had said to please stop making a big deal about what some people said about K0ng behind his back.

Since then, K0ng hasn't really logged on to W4E lately.

I just thought we should discuss this problem a little more.

k0ng has been Removed from All Staff Positions the other Day (Check the W4E Staff List)

He hasn't been on at all after what happened because Ryan told me he just couldn't come back.


So I think this is pretty much done with but feel free to talk more if you wish

Guys who is K0ng?

He was an admin "hired" by Ryan a few months back. A few members raised a "stink" about it and how it was not fair that he was admin and just "came in". I believe a member even left the forum because of it.

Yes...a Member did.
And that really wasn't right in my Opinion....the Administration would only hire who they thought would do a good job

Ok.....but was this guy a random person? Or was he actually random, BUT good at administration?

Ryan chose him because he thought k0ng was good

He was a good friend of Ryan on a different site, and he was good at administration.

So lets say you guys found it impressive that I am admin of 4 sites, and made me admin here, do you think everyone would get upset?

No, I don't think they would.

Almost everyone on the forum knows you now.

Everyone got mad because I think no one knew k0ng.....but I still stick to my opinion that Admin's do what they think what is best for the forum

THERE you Vince. It's what admins think would help the website.

Hate is a strong word for someone you don't know, they didn't know kong, and yet didn't get to know him, so they hated him, yes yes, it's good you hired someone good in administration
